My husband and I both have English degrees (he also as journalism), and are currently teaching high school. We are not the happiest teachers in the world, but we aren’t sure what else we can do with our degrees. Does anyone out there have an English degree and a job that isn’t teaching?
All serious answers appreciated.

A degree is a degree, don’t let your title “English” limit it many employers just want to see that you have your. B.A if you enjoy marketing or business I would look into that, or even writing for the paper or something, you would have to work your way up but its better than hating your job.
